On behalf of CFA Institute and CFA Society Hong Kong, we are pleased to invite you to our New Year Cocktail Reception, which will take place at The Hong Kong Club on 1 February 2024.
Following a year of economic uncertainties and innovation, with global repercussions, especially in the Web3/FinTech and Sustainability spaces, we face a fast-evolving landscape, and our work in Hong Kong remains as critical and relevant as ever. As we look ahead, the Year of the Dragon is expected to bring about growth, progress, and abundance, as a fresh start for lasting success.

Venue: Garden Lounge, 4/F, The Hong Kong Club, 1 Jackson Road, Central, Hong Kong

- Keynote Speech – Mr. Christopher Hui, GBS, JP, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury
- Keynote Speech – Dr. Ma Jun, President of the Institute of Finance and Sustainability (IFS)
- Closing Remarks – Ms. Margaret Franklin, CFA, President and CEO, CFA Institute
6:25pm – 7:30pm: Networking & Cocktails (drinks and light refreshments will be served)
Dress Code: Business Attire
(Jeans, denim, T-shirts, tracksuits, shorts, shoes for sports activities and flip-flops are not acceptable. Shirts must be collared and tucked-in.)

Event policy for Substitutions, Cancellations and No Show applies
- Please RSVP by 12 January 2024 (Friday).
- An email event confirmation will be sent upon completion of the online registration. If you have not received an email confirmation prior to the event commencement, please contact Society staff at events@cfahk.org to confirm the registration.
- If registrant would like to cancel the registration, please inform us in writing on or before 12 January 2024 (Friday).
- If Typhoon Signal No.8 or above / Black Rainstorm warning is hoisted on the event day, the event will be cancelled. If the event of cancellation due to bad weather, the event will be rescheduled. Please click here for adverse weather policy.
