Launched in 2020, the Book Club of CFA Society Hong Kong is designed to offer informal group discussions on a multitude of topics. It is a great social and networking opportunity where participants can meet with other industry practitioners in a casual setting, bringing together passionate readers and book lovers to exchange their opinions on the chosen books.
In our previous virtual Book Club gathering, we are excited to host Professor Dennis Wilder, a senior fellow with the Initiative for US-China Dialogue on Global Issues at Georgetown University, to share his thoughts on Henry Kissinger’s book “Leadership: Six Studies in World Strategy”.
Tapping onto the experience and astute observations by Henry, readers were taken on a journey into the world of politics, learning how leaders, from Lee Kuan Yew to Margaret Thatcher, were able to deliver their big-picture strategy in spite of challenges during their time of leadership.
