In today’s fast-changing digital world, understanding cybersecurity is more important than ever. This fireside chat with Wickie Fung from Palo Alto Networks will explore three key trends—artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and Hong Kong’s regulatory updates—and explain how they’re shaping the future of cybersecurity .

AI in Cybersecurity

Learn how AI is enhancing cybersecurity by helping systems detect and respond to threats more effectively. We’ll also discuss the challenges, such as how AI can be exploited by attackers or introduce new risks if not managed carefully. The conversation will further explore how AI-driven automation is transforming threat intelligence and the ethical considerations of relying on machine learning in security systems.

Quantum Computing and Its Potential

Get a clear picture of what quantum computing might mean for cybersecurity in the future. Is it still 15 years away? What is “quantum supremacy,” and could it break existing cybersecurity measures? While it’s still in its early stages, this technology could one day challenge today’s encryption methods, prompting us to consider new solutions.

Hong Kong’s Changing Regulations

Find out about updates to Hong Kong’s data privacy and cybersecurity laws and what they mean for businesses. We’ll cover why staying compliant is essential and how it connects to protecting data responsibly. Understanding these latest laws is critical to assessing corporate governance risks and opportunities. These regulations enforce accountability and transparency, key pillars of strong governance, ensuring companies safeguard sensitive data.
