The night began on an inspiring note with thoughtful opening remarks from Dr. Alvin Ho, CFA, President of CFA Society Hong Kong, reminding us that human-analysts are still very much irreplaceable amidst the rapid development of AI technologies.
Our distinguished keynote speaker, Dr. Weijian Shan, Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of PAG offered his sharp, timely insights under the theme “Key Macroeconomic Trends and Developments in the Chinese Economy” that resonated deeply with attendees and sparked meaningful conversations across the room.
A standout moment was presenting the 20-Year Decenary Award to Mr. Joseph Chan, JP, Under Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury, in recognition of his enduring commitment as a CFA charterholder. Heartfelt congratulations once again, Joseph!
We also celebrated the remarkable dedication of all recipients of the 10th, 20th, and 30th Decenary Awards, along with our tireless volunteers whose sustained contributions truly uphold the highest standards of our profession.
