At the CFA Society Hong Kong Annual Dinner 2025, we had the great pleasure of hosting Dr. Kelvin Wong, SBS, JP, Chairman of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), as our distinguished keynote speaker.
Dr. Alvin Ho, CFA, President of the Society, was then joined on stage by Ms. Alice Wong, CFA, Non-executive Director of the Society, to deliver inspiring Opening Remarks, expressing strong confidence that financial analysts will continue to thrive and coexist effectively with advancing AI technologies in the years ahead. Together, they shared their thoughtful perspectives on the evolving role and future prospects of financial analysts amid the rapid development of artificial intelligence.
Another highlight of the evening was the celebration of our Outstanding Volunteers of 2023 for their steadfast commitment to the Society over the past year. We also invited CFA Charterholders celebrating their 10th, 20th, and 30th anniversaries to commemorate their achievements and contributions to the finance industry.
