New Year Reception 2026

As we welcome the year 2026, we are thrilled to invite you to an unforgettable evening at the New Year Reception, co-organized by CFA Society Hong Kong and CFA Institute. This event is a unique opportunity to build connections and engage in meaningful conversations as we shape the coming year.

Time: 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM (registration starts at 6:00 PM) 

Venue: Garden Lounge, 4/F, The Hong Kong Club, 1 Jackson Road, Central, Hong Kong 

Join us for an evening filled with camaraderie, inspiration, and insightful discussions. Connect with peers, meet industry leaders, and exchange well wishes in person.

The program will feature opening remarks from the representative of CFA Society Hong Kong, followed by valuable insights from senior management of CFA Institute.

Throughout the evening, enjoy an array of delicious food and refreshments, ensuring a delightful experience.

This event symbolizes the start of 2026, setting the tone for a year brimming with promise and opportunity!

Dress Code: Business smart attire is required. Please refrain from wearing jeans, T-shirts, tracksuits, shorts, sports shoes, or flip-flops. Denim is not permitted in the club at any time. For more details, please refer to The Hong Kong Club's website.

Remarks

• Please take good care of your belongings. CFA Society Hong Kong is not responsible for any personal loss.
• If you have any discomfort or flu symptoms, please DO NOT participate in the captioned activity.
• In the event of a dispute, the decision of CFA Society Hong Kong shall be final and binding.
• Should there be any changes to the event dates and other arrangements, we will notify participants via SMS and/or email.  Notices will also be posted on Society’s website.  Please stay alert with our notifications.
• The event will be conducted in English.
• For attendance-taking purpose, participants’ names and company names (if any) may be given to the speaker of this event.

Registration and Payment Policies

• Registration is compulsory for all attendees, and no walk-in participants will be permitted to ensure proper event management and capacity control.
• For members, non-members, and guests, registration is only officially confirmed upon the successful receipt of payment. Reflecting the increasing shift towards cashless transactions, cash and cheque payments are not accepted.
• Participants must ensure that their online payment transactions are completed successfully; failure to do so may result in the registration not being processed.
• All registration fees must be paid in full prior to the start of the event.  If the registration fee remains outstanding at the time of the event, CFA Society Hong Kong reserves the right to refuse entry.
• Registrations should be paid in full before the commencement of the event. Immediate payment is required upon email confirmation. Should the registration fee remains outstanding, CFA Society Hong Kong reserves the right to disallow entrance to the event.

Cancellation, Refunds, and Substitutions

• Full amount will still be charged for no-show or enrolment made after 19 Jan 2026. 
• An administration fee HK$50 will be charged for any cancellation of confirmed enrollment made on or before 19 Jan 2026. All cancellation requests must be made in writing and be confirmed by email from Society Hong Kong.
• Refund of the event fee (less an administration fee of HK$50 per person) will be given for cancellation received on/before 19 Jan 2026.
  – For payment made by credit card, a refund will be handled through the bank, please allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing. The amount will be refunded to the paid credit card account. 
• No refund will be given for cancellation received after 19 Jan 2026. 
• Substitutions are allowed. Please notify us prior to the event. Non-member rate applies if the substitute is not a CFA Society Hong Kong member.
• All participants must agree with the “Liability Declaration” when they register online. Please note that if you choose to participate in this activity, you do so at your own risk. In consideration of being allowed to participate in this activity, you agree that in no activity shall CFA Society Hong Kong, its staff and committee members, and/or any other person assisting CFA Society Hong Kong (collectively, the “Releasees”) with this activity have any responsibility whatsoever for any and all injuries (including death) suffered by you during this activity and/or for any and all resulting loss and/or damages of whatsoever nature and you agree to release each such person (or entity) from any liability whatsoever for any and such loss, damages, and injuries (including death) howsoever arising from your participation in this activity. Also, if you suffer from any illness, medical condition, or disability, please consult your physician before participating in the subject activity. This disclaimer of liability applies to any and all loss, damages, and/or injury, including but not limited to those caused by any act of negligence on the part of any of the Releasees or on the part of any agent or deemed agent of any of the Releasees.

• Your personal data collected from the registration process will be used for the purpose of the administration of the course/event/activity on which you are registered (“Event”). Such data collected may be accessible by CFA Society Hong Kong’s officers, persons or committees processing the application and related matters. CFA Society Hong Kong reserves the right to inspect personal identity of participants. In addition, CFA Society Hong Kong may use the collected data for statistical research and analysis. By submitting this registration form, you understand and agree that CFA Society Hong Kong may provide your personal data to co-organizers/service providers in or outside Hong Kong for the purpose relating to the Event. • CFA Society Hong Kong intends to use the personal data (including but not limited to your name, email address(es), mobile number and/or social media) to inform you, where relevant, of members’ benefits, goods, services facilities and events organized or provided by CFA Society Hong Kong or other organizations. By registering for this event, you confirm that you and your guest(s) consent to appearing in any official event photographs and video footage.
